I got this recipe from my sister who got it from her friend. I've been making it for many years, and over time, I experimented with it. The Sneaky Veggies was my attempt to get my kids to eat more veggies without realizing it. It has been largely successful. The spinach was the most well-hidden one. This meat mixture is very versatile. Besides for Sweet and Sour Meatballs, it makes a great filling for meat turnover, knishes and kreplach. On Erev Yom Tov, I make a huge batch of this meat and use it for meatballs, meatloaf and however many turnovers I have patience and time for. Happy printing and happy cooking!
