I cut this recipe out of a Parenting magazine and it sat in my box for years. Then I finally made it, modified it a bit, and now I can't make it often enough! It freezes beautifully and is delicious hot, cold or warm temperature. My kids usually have it for supper with french fries and a fruit, but I'll take off a few strips for myself, and add them to a salad of lettuce and tomato with a dash of olive oil and salt, for a delicious adult supper. I've even served them for sheva brochos with a pretty sauce drizzled on top (ketchup and brown sugar mixed well and cooked a few minutes to combine.) Just cut the into a nice shape to make a pretty presentation. Happy printing and happy cooking! Vichna Belsky Download and print the recipe here |
